Zakieh Hassanzadeh is an incoming PhD student with Prof. Lilian Weber at the Institute for Cognitive Science, Osnabrück University. Her research explores how biological systems learn from experience and generate adaptive, flexible behaviour, with a particular interest in how memory and affect shape these processes. She uses computational modelling, from reinforcement learning to neural network dynamics, together with behavioural and physiological data to investigate the principles/mechanisms underlying learning and action.
